We are a Christian Baptist church. Baptists are a Christian denomination whose doctrine (teaching) is based on the Holy Scriptures (Bible). Baptists preach salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ. They believe in the Trinity and other Christian doctrines. You can learn more about these teachings here.
How our church started
Our church was formed on July 11, 1993, in response to the prayers of many and the desire of a group of believers to study the Holy Scriptures (Bible) together and worship our Lord.
The first Bible study meeting, which was held in Vilnius and became the beginning of our church, was attended by only a few believers. However, their desire to know the teaching of God was so great that some of them came from as far away as Joniškis in Lithuania. This meeting was convened by a pastor from the United States. His arrival in Lithuania was prompted by thousands of letters from Lithuanian people who wanted to purchase a Bible.
Since then, thanks to him and many other believers, thousands of Lithuanian people have received the Holy Scriptures, and the Word of God has been preached many times in various parts of Lithuania. Today, many of our church members have come to Christ because of this ministry.
We also invite you, when you hear God calling you to Himself in your heart, not to reject His call, but to come to Him and allow Him to create the new life in you, to regenerate your inner man and give you eternal life.

Our Pastor
Steve and Mary met in the fall of 1987 while studying at a Bible college in Wisconsin. It was love at first sight, and 8 months later, on April 23, they were married. Today, they have 11 children – 4 girls and 7 boys. They first heard about Lithuania in 1993, when a missionary visited their church in North Carolina and told them about his ministry. That evening, God touched Steve and Mary’s hearts, and they realized that they were being led to move to Lithuania and help the people and churches living there. The decision to move to Lithuania, they say, was the best decision of their lives together.
Steve, Mary, and their three children came to Lithuania in 1994 and have never looked back since. Their love for Lithuania, their desire to serve the people here, and their desire to help the local churches has not diminished and remains strong. They consider themselves blessed to be able to serve God and their Savior Jesus Christ in this way.
